There isn't a very direct correlation between board size and rider size. We have had people 230 lbs preferring the 3'9" and other people 175 lbs preferring the 4'2". Since there isn't much contact between the board and the water, size is determined by ability and style.
Benefits of 3'9" length: The most amount of lift, quicker response, more attack angle in your cutbacks, more power in your pumping.
Benefits of 4'2" length: Easier deep water starts (ideal for new foilers with shorter mast and balance front wing), more control, stability, and comfort in rougher water conditions.

Pendulum Design Philosophy
Pendulum – Suspended from a fixed point so that it can swing freely backward and forward.
The Flyweight Pro is based on a style of board design where the rider shifts their weight farther forward and the profile of the board allows the rider to pump with more forward momentum.
Created with a thicker profile with a deep V running through the middle, and an exaggerated bevel on the outside pushing the water away as soon as the board touches down.
The result is a board that will allow you to rise and begin your forward momentum even after catching the surface of the water. A faster, lighter board that will turn with more attack angle. Long distance travels you never thought possible.
Foil Board 101
Construction: The Mod 84 Flyweight Pro is for the rider that wants that melodic tempo that comes from an even keeled ride with less swing weight on the scale. A lightweight feel mixed with extra reaction combining elements of 2 best-selling high-end surfer constructions.
Turning Radius: The 3'9" Mod 84 offers high arcing turns, not too far behind the Blackbird. As we get to the bigger 4'2" size, the turning radius decreases but the laid back flow and mellow starts increase.
Deflection: Every Ronix foil board is designed for water displacement. V Bottoms, deep bevels, specific materials - anything we can do to repel the water when the board touches down. The goal is to fly - not surf.
Footwear: The Mod 84 is the only board in our range without foot straps. Inserts and straps add weight - and this style of rider would rather sacrifice straps for less swing weight.
Specifications
Purchasing an individual board (not a complete foil kit) - you will need to individually purchase the foil track hardware or any other required hardware. Purchasing a complete foil kit - every complete Ronix setup comes with all necessary hardware, protective sleeves, bags, etc.

In Store Pick Up is available; please choose which store you'd like to pick up from and select “Pick up” during checkout. Your order will be ready for pick up at the selected location by 5:00 pm the next business day. If you wish to have someone else pick up your order, please contact the store directly.

Cost will vary based on destination and size of package; freight will be automatically calculated during checkout if you have selected this method. This is a 2 - 3 business day service to most destinations within Canada.
Within Canada, we ship with FedEx & Canada Post. US orders are shipped via UPS. We do ship to PO Boxes and General Delivery, however due to the increased risk we may require further information before processing the order. The customer assumes all responsibility for orders shipped to PO boxes or General Delivery.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an automated email which includes tracking information. Please note, it may take up to 48 hours for tracking information to appear on the carrier’s website.
We want to ensure your new prized possession gets to you in perfect condition. All boards are shipped in a board sleeve, wrapped with packing paper, nose and tail bumpers, and are placed in an individual snowboard box. We are unable to set up your board before shipping due to shipping restraints.
International
The Boardroom extends International shipping services to countries outside Canada, however please note that certain manufacturers, namely Ride, Nike, and Never Summer, are not available for shipping outside Canada. Shipping cost for international orders is a flat rate of USD$30.
It's important to note that customers are solely responsible for any additional customs duties, taxes, and fees that may apply. We recommend contacting your local customs office for detailed information on potential charges. International orders are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return.
