Size Options
| Length | Volume | Rocker | Center Width | Intermediate Weight | Advanced Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3'8" | 13.1 Liters | 2.3" | 20.5" | Up to 160 lbs | All Sizes |
| 4'1" | 14.8 Liters | 2.3" | 20.8" | Up to 180 lbs | All Sizes |
| 4'8" | 19.8 Liters | 2.6" | 21.3" | 160+ lbs | 210+ lbs |
There isn't a very direct correlation between board size and rider size. We have had people 230 lbs preferring the 3'8" and other people 175 lbs preferring the 4'8". Since there isn't much contact between the board and the water, size is determined by ability and style.
Benefits of 3'8" length: The most amount of lift, quicker response, more attack angle in your cutbacks, more power in your pumping.
Benefits of 4'1" length: The perfect blend of stability and response, lift, pumping power and turning radius.
Benefits of 4'8" length: Easier deep water starts (ideal for new foilers with shorter mast and balance front wing), more control, stability, and comfort in rougher water conditions.

Design Philosophy
The foundation to a proper flight. The perfect shape for somebody new to foiling that wants a stable, neutrally balanced riding style. A very consistent, medium-tempo, thin-profile board that will always have you in control.
Available in 3 sizes - this shape and construction will have you in a stable backseat position always feeling comfortable with your flight while the straps that are included help with deep water starts.
Our most stable shape, the 727 is the perfect counter to our Balance series collection blending the learning curve to mid/high level performance. A thin profile bulletproof construction wrapped in our Surface Skin that helps break up the water on landings.
The materials also put an emphasis on those untimed hard hitting encounters with a board rack. Complete with an exaggerated bevel outlining the board to help disperse water as the board touches down.
Last but not least - high end riders rejoice you now have an affordable option with straps to master your aerials.
Foil Boards 101
Construction: The 727 Tuff Tech series puts an emphasis on hard hitting - for the untimed encounters with a board rack. Extra durability wrapped in super tough Surface Skin.
Turning Radius: The 3'8" 727 offers good arcing turns for new to intermediate riders. As we get to the bigger sizes, the turning radius decreases but the laid back flow and mellow starts increase.
Deflection: Every Ronix foil board is designed for water displacement. V Bottoms, deep bevels, specific materials - anything we can do to repel the water when the board touches down. The goal is to fly - not surf.
Footwear: Straps are great for new riders - giving an added level of security to the board making deep water starts that much easier. Ideal for the 727 series. Also perfect for high end riders looking for an affordable option to master aerials.
Specifications
Purchasing an individual board (not a complete foil kit) - you will need to individually purchase the foil track hardware or any other required hardware. Purchasing a complete foil kit - every complete Ronix setup comes with all necessary hardware, protective sleeves, bags, etc.
