In high-end hydro foiling we feel that somewhere in that 3'8" to 3'10" length is the sweet spot, but the real variable is volume. Some riders prefer a thinner board for stronger connection, while others want a thicker profile for more mass to deflect off the water.

Construction Details
Superconductor Construction: Extra emphasis on power in pumping and command through a turn - a full carbon lightweight new style of riding.
With the Blackbird we really wanted to put an emphasis on the reactivity of the construction. Most ocean surfboards and wake surfers are made with foam under 10 lb density. But a couple years ago we started experimenting with foil boards up to 6 times the density of most surfers.
One of our riders said "this board feels like it's conducting its own energy" and the name Superconductor stuck. Our proprietary extra packed PVC foam mixed with a full carbon layup brings about energy we have never experienced in foiling.
Created for a rider that puts an emphasis on controlled power. The series hits harder and reacts quicker than its Ronix board siblings - or any other board out there.
Foil Board 101
Construction: Extra durability, extra energy, or lightweight minimalist. The Blackbird Superconductor uses a core that is 6 times denser than most common cores, and then fully wrapped in carbon. Created for a rider that puts an emphasis on controlled power.
Turning Radius: The highest arcs are found in our new Blackbird. Hairpin turns and reactive carves preferred by advanced to expert level riders.
Deflection: Every Ronix foil board is designed for water displacement. V Bottoms, deep bevels, specific materials - anything we can do to repel the water when the board touches down. The goal is to fly - not surf.
Footwear: Foot straps on the Blackbird add that extra boost on airs. Straps provide security and power for aerial maneuvers.
Specifications
Purchasing an individual board (not a complete foil kit) - you will need to individually purchase the foil track hardware or any other required hardware. Purchasing a complete foil kit - every complete Ronix setup comes with all necessary hardware, protective sleeves, bags, etc.

Cost will vary based on destination and size of package; freight will be automatically calculated during checkout if you have selected this method. This is a 2 - 3 business day service to most destinations within Canada.
Within Canada, we ship with FedEx & Canada Post. US orders are shipped via UPS. We do ship to PO Boxes and General Delivery, however due to the increased risk we may require further information before processing the order. The customer assumes all responsibility for orders shipped to PO boxes or General Delivery.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive an automated email which includes tracking information. Please note, it may take up to 48 hours for tracking information to appear on the carrier’s website.
We want to ensure your new prized possession gets to you in perfect condition. All boards are shipped in a board sleeve, wrapped with packing paper, nose and tail bumpers, and are placed in an individual snowboard box. We are unable to set up your board before shipping due to shipping restraints.
International
The Boardroom extends International shipping services to countries outside Canada, however please note that certain manufacturers, namely Ride, Nike, and Never Summer, are not available for shipping outside Canada. Shipping cost for international orders is a flat rate of USD$30.
It's important to note that customers are solely responsible for any additional customs duties, taxes, and fees that may apply. We recommend contacting your local customs office for detailed information on potential charges. International orders are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return.
