Draft

The Draft is Arbor's true twin, a softer-flexing, confidence-inspiring park, and street System Rocker model.

Product Overview +

Built on a Parabolic Rocker Profile and incorporating Grip Tech contact points, this board is a unique combination of value, style, and technology choices for trick-oriented riders

Features +

Grip Tech 2.25mm

Grip Tech 2.25mm refers to Arbor's unique edge technology that adds extra contact points under your heel and toe. On the Draft Snowboard, this means you get a more direct and ergonomic connection to the snow, which really boosts edge hold—especially on hardpack or icy conditions. The "2.25mm" just indicates the size of those contact points, giving you a solid balance of grip and a smooth, catch-free ride. It's a big part of what makes the Draft so confidence-inspiring for park, street, and resort riding.

Biax Glassing

Biax Glassing refers to the type of fiberglass layup used in the construction of the Draft Snowboard. Specifically, it means the board uses layers of fiberglass woven in two directions (0° and 90° angles). This construction provides a softer, more forgiving flex, making the board easier to press and butter—perfect for park, street, and freestyle riding. It also helps with learning and progression, as it's less stiff and more playful compared to triax or mixed glassing. If you're looking for a board that's fun and easy to maneuver, Biax Glassing is a great feature.

360º Fully Wrapped Sidewalls

360º Fully Wrapped Sidewalls is a construction feature on the Arbor Draft Snowboard (and many of our boards). It means the sidewall material wraps completely around the entire perimeter of the board, connecting tip to tail. This design eliminates the need for tip fill and ties the whole snowboard together, which improves durability, increases impact resistance, and helps the board maintain tight manufacturing tolerances for a longer lifespan. It's all about making your board tougher and more reliable, season after season.

Highland Core

The Highland Core is one of our most versatile wood cores at Arbor. It's constructed with a blend of poplar and paulownia wood, typically in a 1:2 ratio. This combo gives you a lightweight board with great durability, reliable return, and solid performance across a range of conditions. The Highland Core is designed to balance strength and weight, making it a great choice for riders who want a responsive yet durable board.

Extruded Base

The Draft Snowboard features an extruded base. Here's what that means: an extruded base is made by melting and shaping polyethylene pellets. It's super easy to maintain and repair, which is great if you're hitting rails or riding in the park a lot. While it doesn't hold wax as long as a sintered base, it's durable and doesn't require as much upkeep. Perfect for riders who want a low-maintenance board that can take some abuse.

Sidecut

The Arbor Draft Snowboard features a true twin shape with a Parabolic Rocker profile and Grip Tech contact points. While the exact sidecut radius isn't specified in the product details, the Draft is designed for park and street riding, so it has a sidecut that supports quick, responsive turns and easy edge-to-edge transitions.

System Rocker

System Rocker is our signature rocker profile. It features a parabolic arc that gradually reduces rocker toward the tip and tail, keeping the contact points close to the snow. This design delivers a surfy, catch-free ride with easy turn initiation, making it super forgiving—especially for park, street, and beginner-to-intermediate riders.
