Describe to us – if you can

Product Overview +

Describe to us – if you can – the type of terrain you've never seen Pat Moore go full heavy metal on? Go on. We'll wait… Yeah – that's what we thought. Cause heavy metal is what Pat Moore has done his entire career. Which is why his Pro Model board, the Rain, is as heavy metal as they come and the foundation of the Candle Collection. It's a camber powerhouse that craves a jump line almost as much as it wants to slay a backcountry booter. If freestyle all-gas is your game – and torque and horsepower are the kinda words you like to say – then the Rain is probably your board.

Real Wood Powerply

Real Wood Powerply is one of our signature technologies at Arbor. It's a sustainably sourced wood or bamboo topsheet that isn't just about looks—it actually acts like an extra layer of fiberglass, boosting the board's strength, durability, and performance. The natural wood grain gives each board a unique style, but it also improves board life and reduces the need for synthetic materials.

Double Carbon Stringers

Double Carbon Stringers are two carbon fiber strips that run from tip to tail inside the snowboard. On boards like the Rain, these stringers add extra pop, snap, and landing durability. You'll notice more energy return and stability, especially when hitting jumps or riding aggressively. It's a feature designed for riders who want a responsive, high-performance board that can handle big features and fast riding.

Highland III Core

The Highland III Core is our lightest and highest-performance wood core. It's a blend of mostly Paulownia with some Poplar, giving you a super lightweight feel without sacrificing strength or durability. This core is designed for riders who want a board that's responsive and easy to maneuver, but still tough enough for hard landings and aggressive riding. You'll find the Highland III Core in some of our top-tier boards, like the Rain, where performance really matters.

You'll find the Highland III Core in top-tier boards like the El Camino, where it helps balance freestyle playfulness with backcountry power. If you're looking for a core that's light, strong, and built for serious riding, Highland III is the way to go.

Bio-Plastic Topsheet

Our Bio-Plastic Topsheet is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic topsheets. It's made from castor bean oil, which is a renewable resource. This material is highly durable and naturally water-repellent, helping protect your board from the elements while reducing reliance on petroleum-based plastics. It's just one of the ways we keep sustainability at the core of everything we build, without sacrificing performance or durability.

Sintered Base

A sintered base is a high-performance snowboard base made from compressed, high-density polyethylene pellets. On Arbor boards like the Rain, this means you get a base that's faster, more durable, and holds wax better than an extruded base. Sintered bases are ideal for riders who want extra speed and resilience, especially in varied or challenging conditions. Just keep in mind, they do best with regular waxing to maintain top performance.

The sidecut is tuned for a balance of stability and agility, letting you carve confidently at speed or in the park. Combined with features like Grip Tech, it helps deliver precise edge control and a smooth, responsive ride.

Traditional Camber

The Rain Snowboard features a traditional camber profile. Camber means the board has a slight upward arch in the middle when laid flat, with contact points at the tip and tail. This design delivers powerful edge hold, pop, and stability—perfect for riders who want precision and response, especially for jumps, park laps, and aggressive all-mountain or backcountry riding.
