Danny Kass Park Pro Snowboard

When conjuring his first Pro Model snowboard in a decade – Danny was specific in wanting three things. First, tried-and-true freestyle geometry and a slightly wider waist for classic performance. Second, a true twin snowboard that looks directional because... well... he’s Danny Kass. And finally, a full-length long skateboard on the base of the board so that "when you get air, it looks like you’re on a longboard." Without further ado – Arbor is proud to present the Danny Kass Park Pro as part of its Candle Collection.

  • Real Wood Powerply
Real Wood Powerply is one of Arbor's signature technologies. It's a sustainably sourced wood or bamboo topsheet that isn't just for looks—it actually acts like an extra layer of fiberglass, boosting the board's strength, durability, and energy return. The natural wood grain gives each board a unique style, but it also improves performance and longevity.
  • Mixed Glassing
Mixed Glassing on the Danny Kass Park Pro Snowboard means the board uses a combination of triaxial and biaxial fiberglass layers. This layup gives you a versatile flex and response—great for handling a variety of terrain, from park jumps to groomers and even some pow. It balances strength, pop, and playfulness, making the board responsive but not too stiff, so you get solid performance whether you're hitting rails or boosting side hits. If you want a board that can handle freestyle riding with a bit of everything, mixed glassing is a solid choice.
  • 360º Fully Wrapped Sidewalls
360º Fully Wrapped Sidewalls is a construction feature on the Danny Kass Park Pro Snowboard (and many of our boards) where the sidewall material wraps completely around the entire perimeter of the board—including the tip and tail. This design eliminates the need for tip fill and ties the whole snowboard together, which improves durability, impact resistance, and overall board life. It's all about making sure your board can handle whatever the mountain throws at it, season after season.
  • Highland II Core
The Highland II Core is one of our premium wood cores, featured in boards like the Danny Kass Park Pro Snowboard. It's made from a blend of poplar and paulownia wood, but what sets it apart is a special screening process that lets us hand-select the lightest and highest quality paulownia. The result is a core that's lighter and more responsive than our standard Highland Core, while still delivering reliable return and long-lasting durability. If you're looking for a board that's both lightweight and high-performance, the Highland II Core is a solid choice.
  • Sintered Base
The Danny Kass Park Pro Snowboard features a sintered base. A sintered base is made by compressing polyethylene pellets under high pressure and heat, resulting in a dense, durable, and fast surface. This type of base absorbs wax well, holds speed better in various snow conditions, and is more resistant to damage compared to extruded bases. If you want a board that stays quick and performs well across the mountain, a sintered base is a solid choice—especially for intermediate to advanced riders like those the Iguchi Pro is built for.

Shape: True Twin (with a Directional Illusion).
Functionally, the sidecut, 0 cm setback, and contact points form a completely symmetrical true twin. However, Danny Kass stylized the board with a rounded nose and a slightly chopped tail—paying homage to old-school skateboards—meaning it rides like a twin but visually looks directional. It also features a slightly wider waist width to accommodate bigger boots and prevent toe drag

Profile: Traditional System Camber.
This profile utilizes a full, traditional arch underfoot that tapers out toward the tips. It provides maximum energy return, snappy pop, and a highly stable platform for locking into rails and stomping park jumps.
