Product Overview +

The Terra Pin's 3D tip and tail Terra Tech design creates a channel for snow to quickly move under and away from your snowboard for reduced resistance and improved speed in deeper snow. Combined with the System Rocker platform and a tapered outline, it also allows riders to trade length for volume and size down 3-5cm, allowing quicker, surfier turns in the deep and in the trees.

Real Wood Powerply

Real Wood Powerply is one of our signature technologies at Arbor. It’s a sustainably sourced wood or bamboo topsheet that isn’t just for looks—it actually acts like an extra layer of fiberglass, boosting the board’s strength, durability, and performance. The natural wood grain gives each board a unique style, but it also helps with board life and reduces the need for synthetic materials. We put a lot of care into sourcing and processing the wood, making sure it’s done responsibly to align with our commitment to sustainability and quality.

Bio Resin

Bio-Resin is an eco-friendly resin we use in the construction of our snowboards, including the Kuro Neko. It's a plant-based alternative to traditional petroleum-based resins, which helps reduce the board's overall environmental impact. Bio-Resin maintains strong performance and durability, so you get a high-quality ride while supporting more sustainable manufacturing.

Highland III Core

The Highland III Core is one of our premium wood cores, designed for high performance. It features the highest ratio of paulownia to poplar wood in our lineup, making it super lightweight while still maintaining strength and durability. This core is all about responsive ride quality and reduced weight, which is perfect for riders who want a lively board that doesn’t feel heavy underfoot.

You’ll find the Highland III Core in boards like the Terrapin, where quick turns, float, and agility in deep snow are key. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a board that’s both nimble and strong, especially for powder and advanced resort riding.

Mixed Glassing

Mixed glassing refers to the combination of different fiberglass weaves in the snowboard's construction. On the Kuro Neko, this means we use both biaxial and triaxial fiberglass layers. This blend gives the board a balanced flex profile—providing both torsional (side-to-side) and longitudinal (tip-to-tail) strength. The result is a board that feels lively and responsive for freestyle riding, but still stable and durable enough for all-mountain use.

Sintered Base

A sintered base is a high-performance snowboard base material made by compressing and heating polyethylene pellets, resulting in a dense, durable, and porous surface. On the Kuro Neko, the sintered base means you get faster glide and better wax absorption compared to extruded bases. It's ideal if you want more speed and durability, especially for park and resort riding. Just keep in mind, sintered bases perform best when you keep them waxed regularly.

Sidecut

The Kuro Neko Snowboard features a true twin shape with a pure camber profile, designed for freestyle and park riding. While the exact sidecut radius isn't specified in the product details, you can expect a sidecut that supports quick, nimble turns and solid edge hold—perfect for progression in the park and all-mountain riding.

Pure Camber

The Kuro Neko Snowboard features a pure camber profile. Camber boards have a traditional arch shape when laid flat, which means the center of the board is raised and the contact points are near the tip and tail. This design gives you powerful edge hold, pop, and stability—especially great for park riding and riders who want precision and response. If you're looking for a board that's lively and holds an edge well, camber is the way to go!
