Features +

Real Wood Powerply

Real Wood Powerply is Arbor's signature topsheet technology. We use sustainably sourced wood or bamboo veneers as the top layer of our snowboards, including the Single Snowboard. This isn't just for looks—the natural fibers add strength, durability, and a unique flex to the board, acting like an extra layer of fiberglass. The process is pretty labor-intensive, but it results in a high-performance, long-lasting board with a beautiful, natural finish. Plus, it's a big part of our commitment to sustainability and quality craftsmanship.

Highland II Core

The Highland II Core is one of our premium wood cores, designed for a lighter and more responsive ride. It's made using a blend of the very lightest, highest quality paulownia wood, hand-selected through a special screening process. This results in a core that's lighter than our standard Highland Core, but still offers excellent durability and reliable return. You'll find the Highland II Core in boards like the Single, where low weight and high performance are key.

Grip Tech 2.25 mm

Grip Tech 2.25 mm refers to Arbor's Grip Tech technology, which adds extra contact points under your heel and toe for improved edge hold and control—especially on hardpack and icy conditions. The "2.25 mm" indicates the size of the contact point extension, giving you a more direct and responsive feel when turning. On the Single Snowboard, this means you'll get reliable grip and quick edge-to-edge response, making it easier to handle variable terrain and maintain stability.

Sintered Base

A sintered base is a type of snowboard base material known for its durability and speed. At Arbor, our sintered bases are made from a higher molecular weight material, which means they absorb wax better and glide faster, especially in varied snow conditions. They're tougher and more resistant to damage compared to extruded bases, making them a great choice if you want performance and longevity. The Single Snowboard, for example, features a sintered base—so you'll get excellent speed and durability for those deep powder days and all-mountain adventures. If you want a board that holds up and stays fast, a sintered base is the way to go.

Shape & Profile +

Directional Shape

The Arbor Single Snowboard features a shape inspired by single fin surfboards. It has a voluminous, buoyant nose and a tapered pintail design. This directional shape is all about float and maneuverability, especially in powder. The design allows you to size down 3–5 cm from your usual board length, making it nimble without sacrificing stability. The Single is built for deep days and surfy turns, with a camber profile for edge hold and pop. If you want a board that feels surfy and excels in powder and resort riding, the Single's shape is a standout.

Camber

The Arbor Single Snowboard features our System Camber profile. Camber boards have a traditional arch shape, which means the board is raised in the middle and contacts the snow near the tip and tail when unweighted. This design delivers a lively, responsive ride with great edge hold, pop, and stability—especially at higher speeds or on harder snow. Our System Camber also uses parabolic profiling, which mellows out the camber toward the tip and tail for smoother turn initiation and less chance of catching an edge. Plus, the Single includes 3D Fender Technology, slightly lifting the contact points for even easier turning and better float in powder. If you want a board that's energetic, precise, and ready for deep days, the Single's camber profile is a great choice.
