The Coda is Arbor's premier all-mountain, cross-terrain and performance-ready franchise

Product Overview +

The Coda is Arbor's premier all-mountain, cross-terrain and performance-ready franchise. Available in an upgraded Carbon offering for next-level snap and response, the Coda's powerful directional camber profile is supported by Grip Tech Contact Points and offers a slightly wider platform tip and tail designed to drive clean turns at high speeds through mixed conditions. Inspired by the many miles of Pat Moore, this Coda shape rips the resort, is backcountry ready – but built to be an absolute slack-country weapon.

Features +

Real Wood Powerply

Real Wood Powerply is one of Arbor's signature technologies. It's a sustainably sourced wood or bamboo topsheet that isn't just for looks—it actually acts like an extra layer of fiberglass, boosting the board's strength, durability, and energy return. The natural wood grain gives each board a unique style, but it also improves performance and longevity.

We go through a pretty involved process to create these topsheets, starting with carefully sourced logs that are sliced into thin sheets, backed with a special fleece, and pre-laminated to a protective, eco-friendly foil. The result is a durable, high-performance, and sustainable snowboard that stands out both on the mountain and in terms of environmental responsibility.

Grip Tech 2.25mm

Grip Tech adds extra contact points underfoot, giving you more direct edge control and better traction—especially on hardpack and icy conditions. The "2.25 mm" describes the amount of uplift or bevel in the fender (the part of the board where the edge is raised), which helps make turn initiation smoother and reduces the chance of catching an edge. This combo delivers a ride that's both responsive and forgiving, perfect for all-mountain versatility.

360º Fully Wrapped Sidewalls

360º Fully Wrapped Sidewalls is a construction feature on the Coda Snowboard (and many of our boards) where the sidewall material wraps completely around the entire perimeter of the board—including the tip and tail. This design eliminates the need for tip fill and ties the whole snowboard together, which improves durability, impact resistance, and overall board life. It's all about making sure your board can handle whatever the mountain throws at it, season after season.

Highland II Core

The Highland II Core is one of our premium wood cores, featured in boards like the Coda Snowboard. It's made from a blend of poplar and paulownia wood, but what sets it apart is a special screening process that lets us hand-select the lightest and highest quality paulownia. The result is a core that's lighter and more responsive than our standard Highland Core, while still delivering reliable return and long-lasting durability. If you're looking for a board that's both lightweight and high-performance, the Highland II Core is a solid choice.

Sintered Base

The Coda Snowboard features a sintered base. A sintered base is made by compressing polyethylene pellets under high pressure and heat, resulting in a dense, durable, and fast surface. This type of base absorbs wax well, holds speed better in various snow conditions, and is more resistant to damage compared to extruded bases. If you want a board that stays quick and performs well across the mountain, a sintered base is a solid choice—especially for intermediate to advanced riders like those the Iguchi Pro is built for.
