The Element is a modern classic for the resort riding rocker profile enthusiasts and designed to manage terrain that changes day-to-day or throughout the day. This mountain twin shape utilizes Arbor's System Rocker platform which combines a Parabolic Rocker Profile for catch-free turn initiation, with Grip Tech Contact Points for added control underfoot. The Element provides high value at a mid-range commitment.

  • Real Wood Powerply
Real Wood Powerply is one of Arbor's signature technologies. It's a sustainably sourced wood or bamboo topsheet that isn't just for looks—it actually acts like an extra layer of fiberglass, boosting the board's strength, durability, and energy return. The natural wood grain gives each board a unique style, but it also improves performance and longevity.
  • Grip Tech 2.25mm
Grip Tech adds extra contact points underfoot, giving you more direct edge control and better traction—especially on hardpack and icy conditions. The "2.25 mm" describes the amount of uplift or bevel in the fender (the part of the board where the edge is raised), which helps make turn initiation smoother and reduces the chance of catching an edge.
  • Bio Resin
Bio-Resin is our more sustainable alternative to traditional petroleum-based resin. We use it in all our Powerplys and R.A.P. Topless Tech veneers, including on the Element Decon Snowboard. The ingredients for Bio-Resin are sourced as co-products or waste from other industrial processes, and it's made using green chemistry techniques. This reduces the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% compared to standard petroleum-based resin, all without sacrificing performance or durability. It's a key part of how we build high-quality boards while staying committed to sustainability.
  • Highland Core
The Highland Core is one of our most versatile wood cores at Arbor. It's constructed with a blend of poplar and paulownia wood in a 1:2 ratio, which makes it super lightweight while still offering great durability and lively performance. You'll find the Highland Core in boards like the Element Decon Snowboard, where it helps deliver a responsive, reliable ride that's perfect for all-mountain and resort conditions. This core is also sustainably sourced, aligning with our Returning Roots program. If you want a board that balances strength, weight, and eco-conscious construction, the Highland Core is a solid choice.
  • Biax Glassing
Biax glassing refers to the type of fiberglass layup used in the construction of a snowboard. On the Element Decon Snowboard, biax glassing means the fiberglass layers are oriented in two directions (typically 0° and 90°). This setup provides a softer, more forgiving flex, making the board easier to maneuver and great for park, street, and all-mountain riding. It's also a solid choice for beginners and intermediates because it helps with progression and control. If you want a board that's playful and easy to ride, biax glassing is a great feature
  • Extruded Base
The Element Decon Snowboard features an extruded base. This type of base is known for being low-maintenance and durable. It's easier to repair than a sintered base and doesn't require as much waxing to stay fast, making it a great choice for riders who want convenience and reliability. If you're looking for a board that's easy to care for and still delivers solid performance at the resort, the Element Decon's extruded base is a solid option.
Shape: Directional Twin.
The board features a symmetrical tip and tail width paired with a 0 cm setback and zero taper. However, the nose is designed slightly longer than the tail. This layout grants you the added float and smooth turn entry of a directional board, while remaining fully balanced for riding and landing switch.

Profile: System Rocker (Parabolic Rocker).
The design uses a progressive rocker arc that is highest between your feet and gradually tapers off toward the tip and tail. This keeps the contact points lifted slightly off the snow, creating a highly maneuverable, surfy, and catch-free ride.
